Non-urban fares

Non-urban fares are based on zones, which extend from the urban boundary and are defined by the Department of State Growth. Fares are calculated from an origin (where you board the bus) to a destination (where you get off the bus).

Greencard allows you a free transfer into the urban area within 90 minutes of your non-urban boarding.

In the Hobart network non-urban fares apply to Channel and South Arm services. In the Burnie network non-urban fares apply to Wynyard, Penguin and Ulverstone services.
